International Animals Cry for Your Help

Increasingly, Operation Toby receives cries for help from animal welfare organisations in other countries.
These people are reaching out beyond the borders of their own countries because of atrocities against domestic animals there, and also often because their own Governments and civil authorities are refusing to enact existing legislation to stop these cruelty crimes.
Toby knows that most of the visitors to his site are conscious, highly evolved human beings who - if they were aware of these goings-on - would be horrified.
In the Russian and Serbian articles below, we run un-edited, the text of emails and / or video commentaries supplied to Operation Toby. These articles tell of the mass, barbaric "extermination" of homeless dogs on the streets of St Peterburg (supposedly Russia's "cultural capital"), and the horrific "by mallet" slaying of dogs (including people's pets) in Serbia.
Meantime, the Japanese article exposes the appalling "disposable", consumer mentality towards the purchase of kittens, puppies and other types of pet in Japan, and the ultimate fate of many of these poor animals.
The animal welfare organisations that have alerted Toby to these international goings-on have also taken the time to pen the text of protest emails and letters that all of us, as concerned animal lovers, can incredibly easily send off to the people that need either to be advised of, or called to task on, these situations.
In some instances, producing these protest emails for us has been no mean feat. Our Serbian correspondent (as you will see from the commentary she has supplied and we have run un-edited) must use a dictionary in a painstaking and laborious attempt to correspond with us, as we don't speak her language.
So please . . . take a moment to send off the pre-written protest emails and / or letters that you'll find with each article. We've made it a very simple process.

Japan, Its Gas Chambers, Pet Shops & the Terrible Cruelty Inflicted Upon Japanese Animals
The following is an article that has appeared in the animal rights publication, Abolitionist On-Line - http://www.abolitionist-online.com/interview-issue04_SASA.japan-lydia.tanab.shtml
Toby gives the thumbs-up to this publication for letting us know about the horrible fate of his fellow furry creatures in Japan, and the thumbs-up also to the humans working to save as many of these poor animals as they can, from their horrendous suffering.
